INCLUSIONS

All Full Registrations will be entitled to:

All Student Registrations will be entitled to:

  • entry to all program sessions 
  • programmed morning and afternoon teas and lunches from Tuesday to Thursday
  • conference handbook and meeting abstracts

 All Day Registrations will be entitled to:

  • entry to all programmed sessions on the day/s registered only
  • programmed morning and afternoon teas and lunches on the day/s registered only
  • conference program book

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations must be advised in writing to the Conference Secretariat by 13 October 2017. There is an $150 cancellation fee. Refunds will only be issued in exceptional circumstances after this date, but substitute delegates are acceptable.

PAYMENT OF FEES

Payment can be made by credit card – Mastercard and Visa only (via secure online registration only). Please contact the Secretariat for electronic banking transfer details.

All registrations will be acknowledged in writing. If you do not receive a written acknowledgement upon the completion of your online registration, please contact the Secretariat to ensure that your details have been received.

We suggest you take a copy of this form for your own records. Registrations will only be acknowledged once payment has been received.

FEDERAL GOODS & SERVICES TAX

Australia has a Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%. Overseas delegates are not exempt from paying this tax. All fees and costs quoted in the brochure are GST inclusive. The Meeting People Pty Ltd is registered for GST – the ABN is 14 568 939 746. Upon payment online you will receive a tax invoice. 

LIABILITY

In case of industrial disruption or other external events causing disruption to the meeting, the Local Organising Committee for SOAC 2017 and the SOAC 2017 Secretariat (The Meeting People Pty Ltd) of the Conference accepts no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delegates.

PRIVACY

Personal information, as defined under the national privacy legislation, The Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2001, will be treated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles and only shared with related or third parties in accordance with those principles.

EARLY CAREER RESEARCH WORKSHOP

Date: Monday 27th November 2017
Time: From 1 pm onwards (time to be confirmed)
Location: Flinders Victoria Square, conveniently located in the heart of the city.
Cost: Free of charge to ECRs attending the SOAC conference. 

The Early Career Researcher Workshop is an interactive workshop that will run prior to the SOAC 2017 Conference in Adelaide. Early career researchers working on any aspect of urban research are invited to attend.

The Australian Cities Research Network is convening an inaugural lunch to celebrate and support women at all stages of their research career. The lunch will be co-hosted by Professor Nicole Gurran, Co-Chair of the Australian Cities Network, and Dr Crystal Legacy, Senior Research Fellow (RMIT).
