Following the success of the inaugural Early Career Researcher Workshop on the Gold Coast in 2015, an interactive workshop will run prior to the SOAC 2017 Conference in Adelaide.
Early career researchers working on any aspect of urban research are invited to attend. The event will include presentations on career development and planning from eminent researchers as well as the opportunity for discussions with fellow ECRs. Breakout and discussion sessions will be structured around the sub-groups of the Australasian Early Career Urban Researchers Network (AECURN) which include:
- Critical Geography
- Planning Theory
- Planning Law
The workshop will be held from 1pm Monday November 27th, 2017 at Flinders Victoria Square, conveniently located in the heart of the city. The workshop is free of charge to ECRs attending the SOAC conference. Please indicate your attendance at conference registration.
